Tunnel Walk Through - May
Local Hindhead residents, Vivien Gillman -Skillway's Administrator - and husband Robert, appropriately dressed sporting Skillway 'T' shirts were some of the 'privileged few' who first first ventured through the Hindhead Tunnel before it was opened to ticket holders only on Saturday 14 May.
A first for the Gillmans and a first for Skillway!
Well done and "thank you" Vivien and Robert!

Supporting Skillway
LIONS QUIZ NIGHT - FEBRUARY
On Wednesday 9 March Skillway were presented with a cheque for £1,325 which was raised at a record Quiz Night held at Priors Field School on 25 February.
Godalming and Villages Lions Club have held regular quizzes for over ten years to raise money for local charities. A record attendance of 180 players raised the above sum on a night of anticipation and healthy competition with the overall winners being 'Jagger's Jiggers' - Team Leader Dr Chris Jagger, Skillway's Chairman!
The money raised will help to purchase four two-stroke engines and tooling for a new Basic Mechanics Course starting shortly and any remaining funds will go towards sponsoring students through Skillway's courses at the Workshops.
Skillway are extremely grateful to the Lions Club, President Cyril Netley, and to Alan Hill for organising such a tremendous event.
